How Fair Finance ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Ai Operations Limited, collects, uses, shares and protects your information. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you use our calculator or submit an application, we may collect: your name, email, phone number, address, the loan amount and term you're after, details about the vehicle, your income type and rough income, anything you tell us in the notes field, and standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited, and advertising click identifiers such as UTM tags, gclid or fbclid).
We do not collect or store payment card information through this website.
We use your information to match you with suitable lenders on our panel, to pass your application to them for assessment, to contact you about your enquiry, to run and improve our service, and to measure the performance of our marketing.
The core of what we do is refer you to lenders, so we share your application with the approved New Zealand lender partners on our panel for the purpose of assessing it. We also use trusted service providers (for example hosting, analytics, and communication tools) who only access what they need to do their job and are bound by their own obligations. Some providers may store data outside New Zealand; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection. We may disclose information if required by New Zealand law.
We do not sell your personal information.
By submitting an application, you consent to us sharing your details with our lender partners so they can assess it. You can withdraw consent or ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing hello@fairfinance.co.nz.
We use essential cookies to run the site, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels) to understand how people use it and how our ads perform. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it (subject to records we're legally required to keep). To do any of these, email hello@fairfinance.co.nz.
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
